What were we thinking?

We started the DV Caddie line to answer the needs of videographers working with the new prosumer quality digital video cameras. Each year more professionals are turning to smaller, more convenient handheld DV cameras. Documentary makers, wedding videographers and even some feature filmmakers are able to turn out quality product using smaller, less expensive cameras. But what about the filmmaking tools? Professional looking video looks professional because of the tools used to shoot it, most of which are still built for more expensive cameras and sold at more expensive prices.

Our objective is to design and produce lightweight, versatile and inexpensive tools designed to meet the needs of the prosumer DV user.

We keep our products as simple as possible because we prefer innovation to frills.

We test our products in the field before releasing them because we enjoy shooting as much as we do designing.

We never stop refining our products because, well, we just can't help it.
